An island of serenity immersed in nature, where eleven centuries of history meet contemporary château life
Built in 987, Château Ermenonville is one of France's most storied estates — a place where eleven centuries of history unfold across 60 hectares of English-style parkland, ancient forests, and formal gardens. Once home to Jean-Jacques Rousseau in his final years, the domain has been thoughtfully restored as a boutique hotel offering 55 individually designed rooms and suites. Guests enjoy refined French cuisine at the on-site restaurant, relax at the spa and wellness centre, and explore the grounds by foot, bike, or horseback. Just 40 minutes from Paris, it offers an escape into nature without sacrificing elegance.

"It's my second stay at this beautiful hotel and I'm still happy with my choice. The location is super convenience for you to heading towards CDG. The chateau has own restaurant and offers delicious breakfast as well. Room is clean and beautiful. Make sure leave some extra time to explore the surrounding area. I will make it as my base hotel when I fly from CDG."
